● Wireless & wire client isolation (All APs in same subnet)
● Link Integrity
● Association Control
Two-RF-interfaces-in-one-box solution
The IWE3300-Tg is an IEEE802.11g-based multifunction device
that has two independently configurable RF interfaces. Each RF
interface can be configured either as an AP (Access Point)
interface, a static bridge interface or a dynamic bridge interface.
An AP interface enables easy wireless access for mobile users in
public areas. A static bridge interface establishes a point-to-point
wireless connection with another bridge through the Wireless
Distribution System (WDS) tech-nology. A dynamic bridge
intereface automatically establishes a point-to-point wireless
connection with APs from any vendors through the AP client
technology.
Secure authentication based on
industry standard
The IWE3300-Tg can authenticate and authorize
wireless users in organizations, enterprises, or
public areas by the IEEE 802.1x standard. It
communicates with a backend RADIUS (Remote
Authentication User Dial In Service) server to see
if a wireless user is allowed to access the wireless
network. Windows XP has built-in support for
IEEE 802.1x WEP, WPA/WPA2-personal &
enterprise, WDS & AP client security is also
supported for better wireless security.
Client Isolation for all APs or one
Gateway
In order to prevent wireless hackers from attackin
other wireless users’ computers in hotspot area,
IWE3300-Tg supports or one gateway client
isolation for all APs in the same subnet. So the
data of users in hotspot will be more secured.
Easy Installation and management
Through web-based browser of IWE3300-Tg,
users can follow the step-by-step installation
instructions to configure it quickly. In addition, it is
easy for administrators to set up through
web-based management or SNMP v1, v2c,
802.1x and 802.1d MIBs. It is UPNP-enabled and
supports remote firmware upgrades via TFTP or
HTTP file-base upload.
