Designed for hospitality and education
applications
IWE6100-An is a 802.11b/g/n indoor AP/Bridge. It is
designed with high output power up to 1W peak power.
The b/g/n compliant and WDS mode design enables it to be easily
deployed into a high-bandwidth WDS network to ensure the video& voice transmission smooth and uninterrupted. And also allows to
extend wireless network from a single Ethernet connection point. In
addition, it provides enterprise level security, stability to
prevent hackers from attaching the data of users or administrators.
PC-based central control software allows administrators to
control multi-APs more easily and friendly.
So it’s an ideal solution for hospitality, enterprise or surveillance
applications, such as hotel, motel, resort, shopping mall,
campus and factory. Price is more cost effective in the
market, dramatically lowering your infrastructure costs and
increasing your return on investment.
Multiple SSIDs & VLAN ID Tag
support
IWE6100-An supports up to five SSIDs. So it’s
easy to configure five SSIDs with different
security profiles for groups of users to segment
different VLAN. VLAN ID Tag feature allows
administrators to segment different work groups
by additional ID for each VLAN to improve data
security and performance.
Secure authentication based on
industry standard
The IWE6100-An series can authenticate and
authorize wireless users in organizations,
enterprises, or public areas by the IEEE 802.1x
standard. It communicates with a backend
RADIUS (Remote Authentication Dial In User
Service) server to see if a wireless user is
allowed to access the wireless network. It
supports complete security standard for different
mode, AP mode with WEP, WPA/WPA2,
WAP/WPA2-PSK with AES, WDS mode with
WEP, TKIP and AES encryption, Client mode with
WEP, WPA-TIKP, WPA2-AES/PSK, WDS mode
with WPA2-AES encryption. Besides, in order to
prevent hackers from attacking when
administrator is managing APs through SNMP or
Web, IWE6100-An supports SNMP v3 and
HTTPS to authenticate and encrypt information
to improve security. It addition, it supports VLAN
ID tag to prevent clients’ data from been
attacked or stolen during internet access .
Client Isolation for all APs in same subnet or one Gateway
In order to prevent hackers from attacking other users’ computers in hotspot area,
IWE6100-An supports client isolation for all APs in the same subnet or one Gateway. So
the data of users in hotspot will be more secured.
Easy installation and PC-Based central control
Through web-based browser of IWE6100-An, users can follow the step-by-step
installation instructions to configure it quickly. It is easy for administrators to set up
through web-based management or SNMP v1, v2c, v3, 802.1x and 802.1d MIBs. It
addition, IWE6100-An supports PC-Based central control software for
administrators to control the status of all APs in the same subnet and firmware upgrade.
It is UPNP-enabled and supports remote firmware upgrades via TFTP or HTTP file-base
upload.
Wireless Bandwidth Control
IWE6100-An provides bandwidth control feature for WISP to limit the maximum
bandwidth of each user. Therefore, WISP operators can offer different level of
connection speed for different subscription fees.
